What You'll Do
- Collaborate with team members to define requirements, design features, and build advanced search and discovery capabilities.
- Apply your data science expertise to develop AI/ML features on structured data, and integrate them into application services.
- Partner with data engineers on data modeling and ETL pipelines to transform raw data into usable, enriched datasets.
- Contribute to the long-term technical vision and roadmap to enhance performance, usability, and innovation across our systems.
- Support development and O&M activities, debug issues, and maintain system documentation.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in software/data development
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle on cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in programming with Python, Java, or similar languages
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques
- Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of software practices and configuration management
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Git, and JFrog Artifactory
- Experience delivering large, mission-critical software projects
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
- Experience with person/entity resolution across datasets
- Experience with data visualization frameworks (e.g., D3.js, Chartkick, V Charts)
- Experience with Graph databases
- Experience with Elasticsearch
- Experience building and managing ETL pipelines
- Experience in an Agile development environment
