CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE OR HIGHER. WE CANNOT SPONSOR A NEW CLEARANCE FOR THIS PROJECT.
Certification requirements: Security+
CONUS-90 travel to US Army bases across the US for network deployments. You could be gone for 3 weeks at a time, then back home, then back out to the next army base. Upgrades will start in the DMV area and spread across the US.
NOTE: Hotels/Flights will be paid for in advance of travel. Meal expenses will be reimbursed weekly
**VOIP background is not required. This is a network installation; the rack/stack deployment position of new networking equipment**
Seeking a Field Tech Engineer to provide support for a Voice over IP (VOIP) modernization (VMOD) effort, including unified communications (UC) and contact center (CC) capabilities. As the Field Tech Engineer you will be responsible for conducting and supporting activities at customer sites
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct site surveys to collect the information necessary to deploy the system (e.g., as-is and to-be floor plans, network, space/power available/needed, end user information, equipment to be decommissioned)
2. Prepare site survey reports, including the to-be rack elevations depicting cable / power rs)
