Job Description:
• Serve as a Network engineer supporting a government customer
• Deliver and transport services in support of a large IT infrastructure project
• Design and implement Service Provider core and edge technologies
• Translate customer requirements into enterprise/service provider network solutions
• Develop and negotiate IP peering agreements between service providers
Qualifications:
• Active TS/SCI with a Full-Scope Polygraph
• BS in Computer Science or related
• 11+ years of experience and specialized focus on:
• Experience with MPLS/BGP transport network design and engineering
• Experience designing/implementing Service Provider core and edge technologies
• Expert level experience with network routing protocols such as:
o OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and ISIS
• Deep understanding of modern Service Provider architecture solutions
• Experience translating customer requirements into network solutions
• Ability to develop and negotiate IP peering agreements between service providers
• Ability to perform upgrades and network maintenance at Tier 4 support level
• Experience with multiple router operating systems to include:
o IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and JUNOS
• Experience with multi-vendor solutions (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
