Syntelligent is seeking a Counterintelligence Analyst/Specialist to support CISA
Location: DHS CISA / 1110 N. Glebe Road, Arlington, VA 22301
Shift: Day
Anticipated Salary Range: $150,000-160,000
Status: Full-Time

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.
Mental Requirements: Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.

Duties will include:
- Perform a blended set of CI duties including functional support, investigative and operational support, and CI collection activities to support mission continuity and enhance the agency's internal defense against foreign intelligence threats.
- Duties include CI administrative referral processing, risk and threat briefings, CI portions of threat vulnerability assessments, site surveys, coordination with DHS and CISA security and related programs, and support enterprise risk management insider threat programs.
- Support CI collection through reviewing and drafting CI/HUMINT reports, compiling and analyzing collection metrics, supporting debriefings, and performing target and lead development.
- Investigative support includes case tracking, research, data analysis, and CI-related correspondence.
Required:
- Education: Shall possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)
- Experience: Must have a minimum of twelve (12) cumulative years of direct counterintelligence experience, supporting activities such as CI functional services, CI investigations, CI operations support, CI collection management, and CI analysis as follows:
- CI functional services: 3 years
- CI investigations: 3 years
- CI operations support: 2
- CI collection management: 2 years
- CI analysis: 2
- Demonstrated Skills:
- Lead development and targeting
- Strategic risk assessments
- CI policy development and briefings
- Strong writing/editing for CI reporting products
- Interagency coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Certifications: Federal CI/investigative training (e.g., DoD CI Special Agent Course, FBI Basic)
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph eligibility
