The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Information Technology Project Management Specialist to join the team in El Segundo, CA.

This individual will support the Evolved Strategic Satellite Communication (SATCOM) program in Southern California and develop and manage Information Technology (IT) project plans and deliverables.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage information technology project plans and deliverables
  • Assist with determination of project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle
  • Support incorporation of quality management systems for IT projects
  • Identify and negotiate necessary resources to meet project goals
  • Develop and execute project communication plans
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Coordinate and oversee supplier activities
  • Coordinate priorities and activities of project support team
  • Integrate cost, schedule, and technical data/metrics into information to aid in decision making and corrective action
  • Provide project status
  • Ensure proper documentation of project deliverables
  • Work directly with the IT Business Partner, cross-functional IT/Cyber teams, and Program Management to ensure timely delivery of all aspects of IT products and services as required by program stakeholders


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
  • 5+ years of experience leading project teams to meet project objectives and deliverables
  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributor to executive leadership
  • Experience with IT products and services


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Project Management Certification (Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent)
  • Experience with Cybersecurity, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) and system accreditation
  • Experience communicating with both internal and external customers
  • Experience managing large scale complex projects

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $125,800 - $170,200
