Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the organization's alignment of logistics strategy, policy, and plans across Headquarters Marine Corps and the Marine Force Service Component Commands.
- Supporting the organization's alignment of logistics strategy, policy, and plans from DoD, Joint Staff, other Services, Combat Support Agencies, and Combatant Commands.
- For Marine Corps logistics equities, interpret and incorporate information from the National Defense Strategy, National Military Strategy, Defense Planning Guidance, Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan, Contingency Planning Guidance, Combatant Command Campaign Plans, and OSD-level sustainment strategies.
- Executing plan management activities for the Installations and Logistics Department strategic plans. Work includes; Maintain strategic plans for Service-wide utilization and execution, Incorporate top-down guidance and bottom-up feedback into plans via Operational Planning Teams for the Marine Corps Installations and Logistics Enterprise, Relate plan Lines Of Effort and Objectives to ongoing Installations and Logistics Department activities to improve organizational alignment, Coordinate assessment activities with lead and supporting organizations for plan Lines Of Effort and Objectives.
- Leading and supporting the management and execution of Operational Planning Teams, Working Groups, Cross Functional Teams, and staff synchronization meetings.
- Performing Headquarters Marine Corps staff activity task execution in the Marine Corps' task management system.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a business or management field of study
- Minimum of 16 years of experience with U.S. Marine Corps logistics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on logistics and supply chain management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Marine Corps Pre-Positioning experience
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a robust work environment.
