Our client is currently seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer 2 with Active Top-Secret Clearance
Position Title: System and Network Administrator
Location: El Segundo, CA
Duration: 12+Months (possible FTE opportunity)
Required Clearance: Active Top-Secret
Shift: 4th Shift (includes nights, weekends, and alternate schedules to support 24/7 test operations)
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Role Overview
Seeking a skilled System and Network Administrator to support the deployment, hardening, automation, and operational readiness of Special Test Equipment (STE) across factory and launch environments. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient test infrastructure for complex systems programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for factory floor test operations across multiple programs
- Define, document, and deploy test setups, software configurations, and system updates
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve requests
- Develop and maintain tools aligned with product security requirements
- Apply agile methodologies to manage and track product security deliverables
- Design and enhance secure system architectures to meet certification and operational standards
- Configure and safeguard facilities, networks, data, and equipment used in design, test, and delivery phases
Required Qualifications
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and Cisco IOS
- Experience with VMware virtualization technologies
- Background in enterprise storage systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
- ITIL 4 certification
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Experience in satellite test operations and STE readiness
- Cybersecurity expertise across Linux and Windows environments
- Familiarity with PTEX and MTEX test server certification
- Experience certifying Automated Test Controller (ATC) server/client systems
