DCI Job Requirement for:
Chief Technologist-ServiceNow SME
Location: Tampa, FL
Job Description:
• Serve as Chief Technologist to maintain development, test, & production of ServiceNow environments
• Support ongoing O&M activities and projects for USCETCOM CTIS Program
• Responsible for ServiceNow system maintenance, implementation, and integration to include:
o Workflow development
o Bug fixes, enhancements, and upgrades
• Experience implementing ServiceNow system solutions in a Linux environment
• Monitor systems stability to prevent service degradation or interruption
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential gaps
• Assist with configuration/maintenance of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management modules
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to provide visibility into portfolio performance
• Work with the CSI Lead and evaluate impacts of recommended initiatives and projects
• Drive delivery of advanced ITSM processes and tooling solutions that meet customer use cases
• Assist in delivering best practices for the Enterprise to include:
o ITIL, Agile, and PMBOK frameworks for delivering IT Services
• Maintain customer relationships in support of lifecycle replacement of IT hardware
• Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow
• Provide support to end users and stakeholders
Qualifications:
• BS in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of senior-level technologist experience
• 5+ years' experience as a ServiceNow Systems Engineer
• Hands-on experience with:
o JavaScript, HTML, and/or CSS
o Angular JS, Jelly scripts and Restful API webservices
• Understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge management/request fulfillment
• Experience implementing and supporting ITOM and ITAM applications to include:
o Discovery, asset management, service mapping pattens, and event management
• Knowledge and experience supporting relational databases such as MariaDB
o To include installation, optimization, indexing and coding
• Must have the following certifications (or willing to complete within 6-months of starting):
o ServiceNow Certified System Administrator OR ServiceNow Certified System Engineer
o ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
o Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification
o ServiceNow ITSM Implementer certification (preferred)
*May be required to travel up to 10% during the year to support exercises, including OCONUS locations*
