Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support the Air Force, enabling intelligence analysts to securely leverage cutting-edge technologies. This role bridges strategic intent with execution, ensuring cross-functional teams deliver mission-aligned capabilities on time. The ideal candidate will provide program management, cybersecurity expertise. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite in San Antonio, TX or Washington, D.C. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance on Zero Trust Architecture implementation.
- Develop and recommend cybersecurity risk management policies aligned with DoD, IC, and AF standards.
- Consult on continuous monitoring solutions using NIST SP 800-137 and related frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and improve cybersecurity posture.
- Advise on the design and operation of Security Operations Centers (SOCs) for both legacy and cloud environments.
- Evaluate and recommend enterprise cybersecurity tools for AF IC mission systems.
- Produce decision support products , executive briefings, and policy documentation.
- Support governance and portfolio management to enhance program accountability.
- Lead development of WBS, OBS, schedules, and milestone tracking for major initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating vision into actionable plans.
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep knowledge of NIST RMF (800-37), 800-53, 800-137, 800-207, CNSSI, ICDs, DIA guidance, and DoD STIGs.
- Experience conducting security audits, threat intelligence analysis, and compliance assessments.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and real-time threat detection.
- Strong background in strategic communications and tools like SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Mattermost.
- Proven ability to lead PPBE processes , develop budgets, and track execution.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with DoD, IC, and Air Force organizational structures .

Compensation:
- Salary Range: $125,000-160,000 **depending on experience**
