The Raytheon Industry 4.0 team is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer. The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of software products that align with the organization's strategic goals. The candidate will be responsible for faster delivery of secure software bridging the gap between the development environment and operations. This role will be a critical technical liaison between Product Owners and software developers. The ideal candidate should possess experience in seamlessly integrating solutions across various networks.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. This position is an onsite role at either our Andover, MA; Forest, MS; McKinney, TX; Tucson, AZ sites
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment using Azure DevOps.
- Create and update CI/CD pipelines for program support (code and databases) on multiple networks
- Develop automated system integration tests to include API and UX using tools such as Selenium
- Integrate CI/CD technologies for traditional build teams and possibly cloud based infrastructure
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools such as Azure Monitor and Grafana
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python (required) and/or other scripting languages to streamline monitoring, deployment, and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and uphold Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
- Assist in defining and tracking Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
- Support infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Create and automating documentation and internal knowledge sharing.
- Work independently on complex initiatives and objectives
- Expected to Travel 25% of the time.
What You Will Learn
- Advanced skills in prioritizing tasks and features based on business value and strategic objectives
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams
- Ability to analyze product data to identify trends, measure performance, and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires appliable Bachelors degree(STEM) with 8+ years relevant professional experience Or MS with 5 years experience
- Experience with Azure DevOps and at least three of the following tools: Klocwork, Coverity, LiquiBase, Axilon, Flyway, Git and Selenium
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation and monitoring.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)

Qualifications We Prefer
- 5+ years of experience as a DevSecOps or in a similar role
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.

- Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Understanding of tools such as Ignition SCADA platform or Grafana visualization
- Experience with software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Certification in Agile methodologies (Certified Scrum Master)
- Experience with transition to production of software products
- Continuous improvement/growth, quality and analytical mindset
