Senior SharePoint Developer

ASRC Federal is seeking a qualified Senior SharePoint Developer to support the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) in Peachtree City, GA. This role involves onsite work developing, enhancing, and supporting SharePoint-based solutions for enterprise collaboration, with potential for telework as authorized by the government.
Position Summary:

The Senior SharePoint Developer will provide full lifecycle development and support for Microsoft SharePoint environments within DoDEA. This includes designing and implementing SharePoint-based solutions that meet operational and business needs, integrating with other platforms, and ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity and governance requirements. The role will work closely with IT teams, end-users, and leadership to deliver scalable and secure collaboration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2016/2019 environments.
  • Build custom SharePoint web parts, workflows, forms, and solutions using Power Platform, SPFx, and other modern tools.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with governance and compliance standards.
  • Support migration from older SharePoint versions or other CMS platforms to SharePoint Online.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers or support staff.
  • Maintain documentation for solutions, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint performance, permission, and configuration issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
  • Participate in planning, sprint reviews, and Agile ceremonies as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Tier 3 background investigation clearance (NACLC).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with SharePoint development and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), SPFx, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SharePoint REST API.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting DoD or federal agencies.
  • Familiarity with Agile development and DevSecOps environments.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Developer Associate or SharePoint Developer.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity compliance, STIGs, and RMF practices.
Clearance Requirement:

Active SECRET security clearance required. Must be a U.S. Citizen and meet DoD ADP Level II requirements.
