ASRC Federal Broadleaf, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our onsite team at MacDill, Tampa, Florida
Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide comprehensive financial management and analysis support to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). This role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and execution tracking in support of classified and unclassified operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with extensive knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) financial systems, processes, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial analysis and support for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
  • Assist in the formulation, justification, and execution of USSOCOM's budget and financial programs.
  • Conduct cost-benefit and variance analysis to support program decisions.
  • Track commitments, obligations, and expenditures using DoD financial systems such as GFEBS, DEAMS, and PBES.
  • Develop, prepare, and present financial reports and briefings to leadership.
  • Collaborate with program managers, acquisition teams, and logistics personnel to ensure alignment of financial strategies with mission objectives.
  • Support audit readiness and compliance with DoD financial management regulations (e.g., FMR Vol. 2A, 2B, etc.).
  • Monitor and forecast budget performance across multiple appropriations (O&M, RDT&E, Procurement, etc.).
  • Provide recommendations for reprogramming or adjustments to financial plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial policy changes and provide expert interpretation to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of additional experience may suffice in lieu of degree.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in DoD financial management.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
  • Strong knowledge of DoD financial systems, such as GFEBS, DEAMS, or PBES.
  • In-depth understanding of the DoD PPBE process.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or DoD Financial Management Certification (Level II or III).
  • Prior experience supporting USSOCOM or other Combatant Commands.
  • Familiarity with Special Operations Forces (SOF) budgeting and funding structures.
Working Conditions:

Standard onsite office environment with occasional extended hours to meet deadlines. Travel may be required (up to 10%) for meetings and coordination with other units or commands.
