The Systems Administrator will help to maintain the DoD Command & Control System - Consolidated (CCS-C). Duties will include, but not be limited to...
- Maintain domain file servers, archive file servers, live operational network access, and document and analyze system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment and system performance.
- Establish and maintain operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for C2 computer systems.
- Monitor and prepare system for operational use.
- Support operational testing.
Desired Skills
- Experience in any of these areas is beneficial: Unix, Linux, Oracle Database, Access Database. IMDS, Active Directory, Cactus and Vsphere, however, training will be provided as needed.
- Knowledge of Satellite Systems Operations.
- 3+ years of experience in a MILSATCOM developmental or operational environment or Satellite Command and Control systems experience, is desired.
- Ability to comprehend new information in a dynamic environment.
- Be able to apply and communicate learned knowledge.
- "Team" orientated.
Requirements
- Active DOD TS/SCI Security Clearance, or ability to obtain one.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Two to four years of related experience.
- Bachelors degree in technical discipline or equivalent.
- Must be self-motivated and capable of interacting with organizations internal and external that consists of groups of operators, developers, engineers, testers and product vendors.
- Must be able to articulate technical concepts verbally and in written forms both internally to the team as well as externally to the customer.
