ASRC Federal is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support a State Department customer located in Arlington, Virginia. Our team provides support for a campus-wide network, local and remote servers, and storage devices. We are looking for a Network Engineer with the technical expertise to implement, maintain, and support the network infrastructure for a campus network.

ASRC Federal is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support a State Department customer located in Arlington, Virginia. Responsibilities:
- Support Primary Network (OpenNet) and DINs Backbone systems
- Maintain Cisco routers, Cisco firewalls, F5 load balancers, NetApp storage, and Wi-Fi infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring optimal performance for distance learning initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations and systems in line with FAM guidelines
Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP, or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years in networking systems, load balancing, and campus-based networking.
- Secret Clearance required
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient with NetApp storage, VMware, Cisco wireless (Prime management, AP configuration, signal assessment).
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and Cisco router configuration.
- Experience with F5 LTM load balancers, packet analysis tools, and next-gen firewalls (ASA).
- Familiar with backup solutions (Commvault, Syncsort) and fiber connectivity.
