This position is for the Coyote Block 3+ Launcher Product Lead role within the Raytheon Hardware Engineering Tactical Radars & Effectors department. The role is expected to be an onsite position based in Tucson, AZ, and will transition to the SBU Engineering Business Execution Lead organization after filled.

What You Will Do

Be responsible for the technical integrity of the Coyote Block 3+ Launcher Product Team and associated hardware, including the Technical Data Package (TDP) development, validation, and integration

Manage cost and schedule of work and team execution, including Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilities and Estimate at Complete (EAC) support

Manage the technical risk for the hardware, including Risk and Opportunity Management

Lead and/or provide technical oversight of failure investigations, including assigning Failure Investigation Team members

Submit Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to request funding for corrective action implementation and support Engineering Review Board (ERB) and Change Control Board (CCB)

Identify and manage staffing needs for the Product Team.

Recognize team accomplishments through available recognition programs.

Work environment is primarily in an office and will include labs and field work based on phase of program

Work with suppliers and customers for procuring and demonstrating capabilities in lab or field environments

Assignments may require travel to customer, suppliers, and testing locations.

Collaboration with both functional and program management

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years of prior relevant experience. Advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience.

Experience in a technical leadership role including experience across the development lifecycle

Experience as an IPTL or CAM with cost and schedule responsibilities and financial tracking using the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

Experience leading a cross-functional team and collaborating across multiple engineering disciplines relating to design, procurement, and production of products for military applications.

Experience working across multiple functional and discipline organizations to successfully resolve technical challenges.

Experience leading and conducting trade studies, development and design, requirements development and management, and integration and test of mechanical engineering products.

Qualifications We Prefer

Bachelor's or Advanced degree in mechanical engineering or hardware system design.

Experience working on the development and production of missiles and launchers.

Experience working on a program during transitions from low rate initial production to full rate production.

Experience working with suppliers that develop mechanical products, machined parts, and electronics.

Experience with proposal development and new business capture.

Current EVMS Certification or comparable

Possess strong technical writing and oral communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
