Senior Testing Automation Expert – AWS
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Testing Automation Expert with deep expertise in AWS to lead the development and execution of automated testing strategies for cloud-native applications. This role involves close collaboration with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery across distributed systems hosted in AWS environments.
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest
Build and manage a framework for maintaining and updating test data based on evolving requirements
Develop automated tests for UI, APIs, microservices, batch jobs, and data pipelines in AWS
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline
Partner with DevOps and development teams to define test strategies and improve application testability
Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive timely resolution
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices
Research and implement new testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency and coverage
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation
Proven experience in API, integration, system, and unit testing
Advanced knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, or JavaScript
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Compensation:
$60/hr to $75/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
