Position: ServiceNow Requirements Manager (SETA)
Position Type: Full-time Onsite
Position Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly

Waypoint's client is seeking a ServiceNow Requirements Manager (SETA) to support the capture, prioritization, and delivery of customer-driven ServiceNow enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements engineering, IT Service Management (ITSM) practices, and Agile delivery frameworks, ensuring customer business needs are translated into actionable technical requirements and implemented successfully within ServiceNow.

Responsibilities
  • Capture and refine customer enhancement requests for ServiceNow workflows through interviews and requirement sessions.
  • Document needs into comprehensive business requirements packages and validate completeness prior to production delivery.
  • Assess requests for overlap and consolidate where appropriate.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure sufficient detail is captured for implementation.
  • Provide written and oral assessments and Courses of Action (COA) to program personnel, highlighting potential impacts of proposed changes.
  • Prioritize requirements and manage backlog of ServiceNow features and enhancements.
  • Facilitate requirement allocation meetings with developers to ensure accurate hand-off and acceptance.
  • Negotiate delivery prioritization against existing backlog and coordinate Program Increments (PIs) to initiate sprints.
  • Validate completeness and quality of delivered enhancements, ensuring alignment with finalized business requirements.
  • Track and assess sprint/program increment success; provide feedback for improvements.
  • Identify service delivery deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Capture success metrics for Award Fee inputs.
  • Review Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and other contract deliverables to align with cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Mentor Program Office personnel on effective ITSM practice implementation.
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 9+ years of experience, OR Master's with 7+ years, OR PhD/JD with 4+ years.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software requirements development.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow enhancements.
  • Knowledge of ITSM practices (ITIL, CMMI, SAFe).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and program management tools.
Desired
  • PMP certification.
  • SAFe Agile certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
