About The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RHEL 9 Consultant to join our team onsite in San Antonio, TX. This individual will support critical infrastructure projects leveraging Red Hat technologies, with a focus on Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Level 2, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 (RHEL9), Red Hat Satellite (SAT), and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). Familiarity with Red Hat Trusted Application Pipeline is a strong plus.
Job Duties:
Provide expert-level support for RHEL 9-based environments, including installation, configuration, patching, hardening, and lifecycle management.
Develop, implement, and manage automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) (advanced level required).
Deploy and manage workloads in OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
Maintain and operate Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and compliance enforcement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure solutions.
Integrate and potentially support Red Hat Trusted Application Pipeline solutions (preferred, not required).
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide resolution in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and cybersecurity policies.
Document processes, procedures, and architecture.
Requirements:
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly (no exceptions).
Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience with RHEL in a DoD or enterprise environment.
Demonstrated experience with:
Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) – Level 2 expertise
OpenShift Container Platform (OCP)
Red Hat Satellite (SAT)
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, YAML).
Working knowledge of infrastructure automation and DevSecOps principles.
Security+ or any IAT Level II certification compliant with DoD 8570.
Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
