Position Overview
This role is based at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. The Project Management Specialist - JR provides essential support for both civilian and military personnel on the PEO Digital contract. Responsibilities include preparing, updating, maintaining, and delivering program management documentation that contains military data for the designated Government organization.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and coordinate project schedules, timelines, related to products or services.
- Facilitate and coordinate the completion of tasks that support business operations.
- Gather and organize data from various sources, including computer systems.
- Conduct interviews with employees and managers to collect relevant information.
- Identify and resolve problems within various fields or specialized areas.
- Examine data to determine critical factors and select the most effective methods for analysis.
- Apply statistical methodologies to analyze information and develop solutions to business-related issues.
- Advise managers on findings and present options for addressing identified problems.
- Draft memos and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to management.
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience.
- Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned tasks.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and data mining skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Outlook, and MS Project (including creating milestones and action plans).
- Writing proficiency for the creation of documents.
- Supports or performs functional duties under the guidance of more senior positions.
- Secret Security Clearance required.
- PMP Certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Alternative: Six additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
