What You Will Do

As a Deputy Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, you will be responsible for activities that are critical to the success of the program. You will support and backup the IPT Lead in the following areas.
  • Cost, schedule, and technical execution
  • Earned value management and status reporting
  • Technical and programmatic direction
  • Schedule definition and management
  • Risk and opportunity management
  • IPT level systems engineering
  • Staff planning
  • Agile and DevOps process definition and execution


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant software leadership experience
  • Experience with Earned Value and Control Account management
  • Experience with software development life cycles
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development
  • An active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with program processes and activities such as program startup, Integrated Master Schedules with budget allocation, WBSs, EACs, and LREs
  • Experience increasing organizational performance by implementing development process improvements and driving execution focus
  • Experience with onboarding new work, proposals, and BOE development
  • Experience with major milestone reviews

This software engineering position is onsite at our Aurora, CO location.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
