Our team has a Cost Analyst position available in Norfolk, VA. Primary responsibilities include:
• Perform Functional Economic Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the costs of alternative ways to accomplish functional objectives. The FEA states investment costs, benefits, and risks as a net change to the functional baseline cost, the cost of doing business now and in the
future. Ensuring that cross-functionality, security, and other integration issues are addressed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (i.e. Word, Excel, Access), strong working knowledge of project accounting
• Anticipate and mitigate potential budget and scope change impacts
• Handle multiple complex projects and tasks and work closely day to day with the project managers and other project controls analysts
• Develop strong internal and external client working relationships. Be adaptable and flexible in a changing and evolving environment
• Billing, project budget analysis, cost-to-complete analysis, contract financial requirements, change orders, etc. Cost and budget analysis skills, including cost-to-date and cost-to-complete analysis and forecasting
Job Requirements
• Associate's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, accounting, or other related discipline and 4-6 years' general experience
• This is NOT a remote\hybrid position. You are expected to be in office daily, Mon-Fri.
