KASTELLUM Group is seeking a Senior Space Operations Specialist to support U.S. Fleet Cyber Command NAVSPACE in Maryland.
Key Role:
Provide support to the Space Operations Director and Joint forums, including Joint Space Warfighting Forum (JSWF) and associated sub-forums and working groups led by Commander, U.S. Space Command and Director National Reconnaissance Office including the O6 Forums, 2-Star Prep Sessions, and the 4-star JSWF meetings. Draft plans, instructions, assessments, and requirements related to space operations. Provide analysis on Space Order of Battle, operational readiness, and mission impacts.
Must Have:
• 10 years of experience performing management analysis in areas such as business process reengineering, configuration management, quality control/assurance, organizational performance assessments, mission analysis, or strategic planning
• 7 years of experience with DoD Space Operations, mission areas, and functions
• Experience as a cyberspace operations officer or space operations officer
• TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph
• BS or BA degree
Nice If You Have:
• Experience with supporting Navy and Joint space strategic, operational, and tactical environments
• Experience with leading and organizing working groups
• Knowledge of both Fleet and National Space architectures, network designs
• Knowledge of one or more of the following: Space, Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO), Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), signals intelligence (SIGINT), information operations (IO), electronic warfare, and electromagnetic spectrum operations
• Knowledge of Over-the-Horizon-Targeting (OTHT) in support of Space operations.
• Ability to develop associated strategies and implementation planning for future Navy and Joint space systems
• Ability to develop written artifacts supporting Space Operations
• Ability to think creatively and communicate thoughts both in terms of structured narrative and visual graphics
• Ability to execute advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint functions
