Summary
We are looking for a Junior Web Developer to:
Assist senior developers in designing and maintaining high quality websites and information systems, working creatively within existing network and policy constraints
Work closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to integrate new functionalities into existing software
Support software development processes, ensuring smooth transitions between development and production environments
Continuously learn and field-test new technologies to contribute to innovative project solutions
Work within a team environment to ensure the successful execution of project objectives.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
Qualification
Active Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
3 years of relevant experience
Required Skills/Technologies
Familiarity with JavaScript (including React version 14 or above), HTML, and CSS.
Understanding of web development frameworks like ASP .NET/C# or comparable technologies.
Experience working with databases (especially SQL) and RESTful APIs.
Experience with software integration, build, installation, and deployment processes.
Experience with both green field development and maintaining/upgrading legacy systems.
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels.
Highly collaborative, with the ability to engage in discussions, collaborate with team members, and improve results through collective input.
Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities and delivering high quality results under time constraints.
A self-motivated individual eager to contribute, learn and exceed customer expectations for their work.
