Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Chief of Staff to support the Rapid Space Capabilities (RSC) team in Albuquerque, NM or El Segundo, CA.
The Chief of Staff will be responsible for supporting various unclassified and classified U.S. government aerospace programs.
The Chief of Staff will aid in making program operations seamless and efficient, working closely with the Program Executive Leadership, the chief of staff will join the program management team to promote operational excellence by helping manage the program's battle rhythm, logistics, and contractual deliverables. Additionally, the chief of staff will help with execution and coordination through all phases.
The Chief of Staff will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating key program meetings, managing action items and meeting minutes, work with the program team to ensure dates and deadlines are communicated, manage data flow into the program's classified network, and manage data flow for customer deliveries. This position will work closely with the rest of the program management team to ensure there are no gaps in program operations, ultimately helping the program succeed by meeting contractual requirements and exceeding customer expectations.

El Seguno, CA: $115,600 - $156,400 USD

Albuquerque, NM: $132,600 - $179,400 USD
El Seguno, CA: $141,950 - $192,050 USD

- Supports the development, planning and execution of employee-related activities and initiatives
- Partners with organization leaders on long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives
- Reviews and evaluates strategic organizational issues and identifies implementation recommendations
- Provides continuous assessment of overall meeting/review architecture
- Assists in the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives, deployment analysis and impact mitigation
- Supports the coordination and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case
- Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations to fulfill strategies
- Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case Meets with leadership to gain approval
- Provides implementation direction for work authorization
- Collects, organizes and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance
- Ensures follow up action for issue resolution
- Supports the design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events
- Plans and coordinates organizational facility requirements.
- Collaborates and coordinates with executives and VIPs execution of meetings, visits, travel

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
- 5+ years of experience developing and deploying organizational plans and strategies
- 5+ years of previous experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
- 5+ years of experience working with executives and senior customers and officials and their administrative teams
- Associate's Degree or higher
- Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Outstanding customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active Tier 5 / SSBI

- Effective communicator across multiple functions and management levels and customers
- Familiarity in planning events in secure environments while adhering to security protocols
