Mobius is seeking a Mission Systems Engineer (MSE) to support the National Reconnaissance Office's (NRO) Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED) Integrated System Program Office (ISPO) delivering Overhead Persistent Infra-Red (OPIR) mission management, tasking, collection, processing & dissemination, as well as, integration with DoD Space Based Infra-Red System (SBIRS).

The Mission role is a critical position within the organization, designed to identify and design the mission architecture for the GED. The individual in this role will perform trade studies to identify and develop requirements to support critical mission architecture designs for GED.

The candidate will provide systems engineering support for development, maintenance, management, and implementation of SPO architectures as a component of the GED Enterprise architecture.

The position is in the National Capitol Region.

Duties of a Mission Systems Engineer (MSE) may include:

• Timeline Management:
• Monitor progress and resolve conflicts to maintain alignment with organizational priorities and deadlines.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Collaborate with internal teams, external users, and system architects to address data-related challenges and opportunities.

• Architectural Insight:
• Support architectural decisions and help guide the organization toward innovative and sustainable solutions.
• Support the development and refinement of architectural frameworks in line with strategic visions and emerging technologies.
• Vision Advocacy:
• Support long-term goals by ensuring that all efforts align with the organization's 2035 vision and mission.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and recommend adjustments to strategies or roadmaps when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with development/maintenance of reference cloud architectures and design patterns
• Ability to perform analysis of artifacts for architectural impacts
• Understand how to create and maintain architectural views, based on DoD Architecture Framework or other architecture frameworks
• Understanding of critical Trade Study & analysis and how they support high-level requirement development
• Support the development of high-level requirements and analyze CONOPs and architectures to ensure requirements are correctly allocated
• Understanding of the agile processes in high-level requirement development
• Understand Thread Management process and how it applies end-to-end engineering across acquisitions, to achieve mission capabilities.
• Support alignment and synchronization of acquisitions, planning, and support architecture and requirements analyses and trade studies using end-to-end mission engineering
• Knowledge of requirements, traceability, and verification in tool(s),such as Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
• Ability to support analysis and assessment of developer documents such as specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), APIs, and CDRLs for content, completeness, traceability, verification and validation
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Domain Expertise: GEOINT, SIGNINT, or Intelligence Integration

Education

• 0-5 years with Bachelors in Science, Technical, Engineering or Math discipline

Clearance

• Active TS/SCI Clearance
