The Opportunity:

CACI has established upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of US AREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives .

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Software Developer (Python), Senior . This position is in support of the USAEUR Mission Partner the MND located in Wiesbaden, Germany . This position is located OCONUS.

Responsibilities:

  • Writes, debugs, and tests code in different program languages (e.g., Java, Python)


  • Performs code developments, modifications, and customization on legacy and future applications


  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of Python, including mastery of core syntax (e.g., loops, conditional, data types, functions), advanced features (e.g., decorators, generators, context managers), and object-oriented and functional programming


  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge working within Agile software development environments and developing code IAW user stories and requirements documents


  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge using DevSecOps tools (e.g., Jira, Cameo, Git)


  • Ensures developed source code complies with DoD guidelines, DISA STIGs, IEEE 12207, and applicable system ATOs


  • Supports software application testing, validation, and troubleshooting


  • Creates, updates, and maintains O&M documentation


  • Supports O&M activities, including configuring and maintaining connectors, libraries, tasks for source data feeds, and exports to the CM database


  • Designs, develops, and implements unit and scenario testing for the existing code base and for new functionality under development


  • Develops complex software to satisfy design objectives


  • Develops high-level system design diagrams for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation


  • Performs applications or systems programming on large-scale database management systems


  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments


  • Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge


  • May supervise others




    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility


    • BA/BS + 8 -12 years experience


    • Certification - 8140 - GCLD or GSEC or CSSLP


    • Demonstrates expert-level proficiency in multiple programming languages, with particular mastery in Python, including advanced features and paradigms.


    • Functions as a Python development authority, possessing comprehensive knowledge of core syntax, decorators, generators, context managers, and both object-oriented and functional programming approaches.


    • Exhibits expertise in legacy and modern application development, adeptly performing complex code modifications and customizations.


    • Serves as an Agile development expert, translating intricate user stories into high-quality code while ensuring strict compliance with applicable guidelines and standards, preferably in a DoD environment.


    • Displays advanced proficiency in DevSecOps tools such as Jira, Cameo, and Git. Shows superior skills in software testing, including design and implementation of sophisticated unit and scenario tests for existing and new functionalities.


    • Creates complex high-level system design diagrams and maintains comprehensive O&M documentation.


    • Demonstrates mastery in large-scale database management systems, Tier 2 support activities, and complex O&M operations.


    • Possesses domain expertise , applies comprehensive knowledge to high-impact assignments, and capable of taking on supervisory responsibilities.

    Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is:
    $99,300 - 208,600 USD
