Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Responsibilities
- Use a variety of simulation tools, coding languages, and statistical methods to analyze system-trade comparisons.
- Develop system performance metrics that provide insights to Government customers and decision-makers.
- Travel for quarterly working group meetings (within CONUS) and participate in additional training opportunities.
- Develop models of tactical situations.
- Prepare analytical product reports.
- Brief technical material to Government leadership.
- Analyze environmental data and impacts on real world platforms and sensors.
- Apply advanced statistical methods to improve the effectiveness of system capabilities.
- Support system trade studies, warfare assessments, and create analytic products for DoD leadership decision-making.
- Guide Concept of Operations development through analysis.
- Interface with Subject Matter Experts to establish model assumptions.
- Generate presentations communicating analysis methodology and results-for audiences ranging from MORS conferences to Flag Officers.
- Apply machine learning and pattern recognition optimization techniques.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of related work experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or a closely related field with a strong emphasis on data analytics, or currently in the process of obtaining such a degree.
- Relevant coursework in math modeling, data structures, statistical analysis, and programming languages.
