- Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications in accordance with the platform roadmap, government standards, and Agile/ITIL best practices.
- Lead ServiceNow enhancement efforts and automation development for ITSM, ITOM, and other modules per PWS 4.5.
- Develop architecture artifacts and system documentation in support of platform development lifecycle.
- Oversee configuration management, change/release processes, and quality assurance checks (CDRLs A003, A005).
- Maintain the IMP/IMS and contribute to PM artifacts like PMP (CDRL A001, A002).
- Develop and manage CMDB integrations and event management using tools like SolarWinds, Microsoft EMS, etc. (PWS 4.3.4).
- Participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) reviews and develop ServiceNow release notes.
- Support DevSecOps, CI/CD integration, and platform security configuration compliance.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership in sprint planning.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM).
- Expertise in scripting, APIs, REST integrations, MID server deployments, and platform data modeling.
- Experience with agile frameworks, including SAFe, and tools like JIRA.
- Hands-on experience with SCIF support, classified systems, and ITSM governance.
ServiceNow Developer - Senior Level
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the development, enhancement, integration, and lifecycle support of the ServiceNow platform in support of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position will support the ServiceNow Operations and Enhancements (SNOE II) program, delivering advanced technical solutions aligned with mission-critical objectives.

- Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules including Incident, Change, Problem, CMDB, Knowledge, Request, and more.
- Develop integration solutions with external systems using APIs, MID servers, and integration hubs.
- Implement CI/CD automation and DevSecOps processes for streamlined code deployment and version control.
- Support platform security, access control, data segregation, and audit compliance in accordance with RMF, NIST SP 800-53, STIG, and DCSA guidelines.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, release notes, and change logs.
- Lead enhancement efforts to improve performance, usability, and service delivery capabilities within the platform.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and CAB meetings to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
Education and Experience
Required:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in ServiceNow development and integration.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or System Administrator.
- Strong proficiency with Glide scripting, JavaScript, Business Rules, UI Policies, ACLs, and Flow Designer.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with Microsoft enterprise tools, event management systems, or security platforms.
- Proven ability to operate within a DoD or IC environment with strict compliance and security mandates.
Desired:
- Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Experience working with DIA, DCSA, or other defense/intel customers.
- Knowledge of configuration and asset management within classified environments.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and serve as a technical lead for enhancements and modernization efforts.

- Customize and configure ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management.
- Implement workflows, UI policies, client scripts, and business rules in support of platform operations (PWS 4.3).
- Develop and maintain platform enhancements, ensuring alignment with DIA governance and SC PMO direction (PWS 4.5).
- Support configuration and release management efforts using CM tools and integrated pipelines.
- Document technical work in accordance with QASP and PMP requirements (CDRLs A001, A006).
- Conduct unit testing and support system-level testing in conjunction with test plans (CDRL A009).
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, or related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow Studio, scripting, ACLs, and CMDB.
- Familiarity with Agile development cycles, ITIL framework, and DevSecOps pipelines.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; CIS desirable.
ServiceNow Developer - Junior Level
