Position Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, enhancement, optimization, and maintenance of network infrastructure. In addition to managing ongoing network maintenance and design efforts, this role will focus on installation, configuration, and problem resolution. The Network Engineer will work with network hardware, software systems, and related technologies to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable network operations. Responsibilities also include monitoring performance, configuring network devices, ensuring security, and implementing upgrades to maintain high availability for all users.
Required Skills
Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
Minimum of 15 years of current experience in network engineering.
Strong knowledge of network protocols.
Proven experience in designing, configuring, analyzing, and implementing complex networks.
Expertise with network hardware, software systems, and technologies.
Desired Skills
Knowledge of networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Forward Networks.
IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields.
Cisco CCNA or Cisco CCNP certification preferred.
