Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst to support the Narcotics and
Transnational Crime (NTC) mission. The analyst will conduct all-source, all-domain
network analysis of drug trafficking and transnational organized crime (TOC) networks.
The role requires demonstrated expertise in data analytics, network visualization, and
fusion of intelligence and law enforcement data to generate actionable intelligence
products for DoD, interagency, and law enforcement partners.
Key Responsibilities
 Conduct entity-level network analysis of TOC, counter-drug (CD), and related
illicit networks to identify organizational structures, operations, vulnerabilities,
and financial flows.
 Extract, condition, cleanse, normalize, and transform large datasets from
intelligence community (IC), law enforcement (LEA), financial, and commercial
sources.
 Apply analytic and visualization tools such as i2 Analyst Notebook, Palantir,
Semantica/Cortex, Microsoft PowerBI, Power Query, and Python to develop
target packages, network charts, and data visualizations.
 Fuse multi-INT data (SIGINT, GEOINT, FININT, HUMINT, OSINT) and LEA
datasets (DEA, HSI, Treasury, FBI, etc.) into comprehensive analytic products.
 Perform cryptocurrency analysis, including wallet tracking, blockchain forensics,
and detection of laundering techniques using mixers/tumblers and exchanges.
 Develop predictive models and analytic workflows to uncover patterns,
anomalies, and emerging threats across illicit networks.
 Produce concise written reports, detailed annexes, and compelling visual products
(link charts, geospatial overlays, timelines).
 Deliver findings and recommendations in interagency forums, briefings, and
coordination meetings.
 Provide training and “brown bag” sessions to analysts on workflows, tools, and
tradecraft best practices.
 Support surge operations and rapidly adjust to evolving mission priorities.
Required Qualifications
 Active TS/SCI clearance (polygraph preferred).
 Bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies, criminal justice, international relations,
computer science, or related field.
 3+ years of experience conducting all-source network analysis in support of
counter-drug, counter-threat finance, counter-terrorism, or related missions.
 Hands-on expertise with i2 Analyst Notebook, Palantir, PowerBI, Power
Query, Python.
 Familiarity with cryptocurrency analysis, blockchain transactions, and financial
investigations.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing senior
stakeholders.
 Ability to work in high-tempo environments and collaborate across DoD, IC, and
LEA partners.
Desired Qualifications
 Experience supporting NTC, DoD CN/TOC missions, or federal law
enforcement investigations.
 Certifications in data analytics/visualization (e.g., CompTIA Data+, Microsoft
PowerBI).
 Experience with interagency coordination, sanctions support, or financial
targeting.
 Regional expertise (e.g., SOUTHCOM AOR, Western Hemisphere illicit
networks).
