We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MuleSoft Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role requires a strong blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to mentor and guide junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Development & Implementation: Design, develop, and deploy complex integration solutions and APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, Mule 4, and DataWeave.
- API Lifecycle Management: Create and manage APIs, including defining API specifications using RAML or OAS, implementing API policies, and ensuring adherence to security and governance standards.
- Technical Design: Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.
- Mentorship & Code Quality: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team. Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code, adherence to best practices, and consistency with architectural patterns.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues in development and production environments, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- CI/CD & DevOps: Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, GitHub Actions) to automate build, test, and deployment processes, and contribute to the overall DevOps strategy.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance tuning and optimization strategies for MuleSoft applications to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, API specifications, and operational procedures.
- Collaboration: Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, business analysts, and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a MuleSoft developer.
- Proven experience in designing and developing integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with API-led connectivity and a deep knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Experience with various MuleSoft connectors (e.g., Salesforce, Database, SAP, File, etc.).
- Experience with other integration patterns such as synchronous, asynchronous, and publish/subscribe.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MuleSoft development, including Mule 4, DataWeave, and Anypoint Studio.
- Expertise in designing APIs using RAML/OAS.
- Strong knowledge of various protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, and JMS.
- Experience with security standards such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SAML.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Git).
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1.
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Professional.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a technical leader within a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Must be a US citizen and/or green card holder and be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
