ASRC Federal is seeking an experienced Financial Program Support Specialist to provide critical financial program support to the Department of Defense Foreign Military Sales in Fairfax Virginia. This role requires deep expertise in financial data analysis, program management, and U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes. The ideal candidate will evaluate financial data and workflows, create financial documents, prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders, and contribute to strategic financial planning and performance for complex defense-related programs. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with the ability to work from the Fairfax, VA office as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement enhancements to financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to support business objectives and planning activities.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks through in-depth financial data analysis.
- Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders.
- Evaluate existing financial systems, processes, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Provide training and end-user support to ensure proper usage and compliance with financial systems.
- Assist in developing compliant documentation in support of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Executing (PPBE) processes.
- Manage multiple program types (U.S., FMS, etc.) in accordance with fiscal and appropriation laws and policies.
- Track and report on financial data to ensure alignment with program goals and compliance requirements.
- Support coalition and bilateral military information-sharing activities.
- Coordinate international program agreements, including drafting and executing MOUs, MOAs, and 7600s.
- Collaborate with DoD and international partners to ensure effective program execution and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 10-12 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Clearance: TS/SCI eligibility required
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting processes, and analytical methods.
- Experience using DEAMS/GAFBQ and WAWF required with preferred experience also using CMCS and DSAMS.
- Experience in program management or business analysis related to defense systems acquisition and life cycle management.
- Expertise in preparing budgets, financial reports, and program documentation.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ability to interpret and apply fiscal and appropriation laws and policies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience.
- Three or more years of experience in international program coordination with a DoD component.
- Experience with drafting and executing MOUs, MOAs, and 7600s.
