Overview
Provide IT systems administration support of TARCES projects that are: fielded or out-of-production; in production phases or are being modernized, modified, or customized; in all phases of the project life cycle; in varying phases of research and development; in all phases of the project life cycle for non-DoD customers; and in all phases of the project life cycle for FMS customers.
Responsibilities
· Provide IT systems administration support of TARCES projects that are: fielded or out-of-production; in production phases or are being modernized, modified, or customized; in all phases of the project life cycle; in varying phases of research and development; in all phases of the project life cycle for non-DoD customers; and in all phases of the project life cycle for FMS customers.
· Install, configure, and maintain an organization's LAN, data communications network, operating system, and physical and virtual servers.
· Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
· Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
· Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
· Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software as required.
Qualifications
Required:
· BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution with three years' experience
· Top Secret/SCI Eligible
