The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Management Technician to join our IMCOM G4 cybersecurity and information assurance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and conducting research and assessment activities that provide data to support and enhance decision-making, strategic planning, outcomes assessment, accreditation, and external reporting. They will also be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining data systems and security protocols to ensure the integrity and protection of sensitive information.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and conduct research and assessment activities to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Implement and maintain data management systems and security protocols.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data related to cybersecurity and information assurance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data security policies and procedures.
- Monitor data systems for potential security breaches and respond to incidents.
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enhance data protection measures.
- Generate reports and provide data insights to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and standards.
- Assist in conducting security audits and risk assessments.
- Support accreditation processes and external reporting requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in data management and cybersecurity.
Qualifications:
Required:
- An active DoD Secret clearance.
- Minimum education: Associate's degree (AA) or 2-year technical school diploma in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in data management, preferably in a cybersecurity environment.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems and data security protocols.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Experience with eMASS, STIG Viewer, and ACAS.
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
- Must be able to maintain contractual obligations such as annual DoD training, CAC card, and other requirements as needed.
Desired:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, CISSP, Security+).
- Experience working in government or military environments.
- Knowledge of IMCOM systems and processes.
