Insight Global is actively hiring a Network Operations Watch Analyst to join our team at Joint Base Andrews, working a Sunday - Thursday; 2pm - 10:00pm shift.
The selected candidate will work on a team responsible for monitoring and managing the status of Global, Wide Area Network; receiving escalated support calls for connectivity issues, performance issues, perform incident management and service restoration activities using a suite of automation tools; as well as work with long haul carriers. Candidates will provide proactive problem management and customer reporting. Service issues that cannot be resolved by Tiers 1 and 2 support are escalated to internal Tier 3 support for advanced troubleshooting and resolution.
Minimum job requirements Include:
• Active Secret Clearance
• IAT level II (Security+ Certification or similar)
• Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience in a Network; NOC; or SOC Environment. 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Proven experience in network monitoring and incident management.
• Strong hands-on experience with SolarWinds and SCOM monitoring platforms.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and routing.
• Familiarity with server technologies and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Remedy and ServiceNow.
Insight Global expects to pay 100K - 130K for this opening based on candidates level of experience, expertise and clearance level.
