Provide technical expertise in support of, but not limited to: Item Managers, configuration management, data review, hardware repair and integration, and field-level support.
Perform technical duties utilizing a broad knowledge of electronic equipment principles and techniques, and possess a thorough knowledge of digital and analog circuitry.
Provide general technical advice on the WS3 to the program office and users.
Provide quarterly evaluation and analysis of all maintenance actions.
Provide system users with technical advice on system installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
Serve as the subject matter expert and technical adviser during Technical Exchange Meetings,
Technical Interchange Meetings, and at guidance and provisioning meetings. Perform interrogation and cataloging actions, and review and verify stock level requirements utilizing Air Force and CCSD supply databases.
Use the Joint Deficiency Reporting System to perform equipment deficiency coordination and reporting.
Provide guidance on Defense Demilitarization policies and procedures, and assign item identification codes in support of Life Cycle Management.
Support personnel is required to input data to Government produced reports and data systems, attend meetings, and assist with briefings as required.
Qualifications:
Technical experience should include, but is not limited to: installation, integration, adjustment, upgrade, modification, repair, operational checks, initial on-site system and operational capabilities awareness as required, and repair management of communication and electronic hardware.
2 years min exp.
Travel to provide support for Weapons Storage Security Systems (WS3) as required.
Provide an estimated average of 15 technical field support consultations per month.
