Location: Pentagon / 1400 Defense Pentagon, Washington, DC 20301
Shift: Morning (0400-1200)
Anticipated Salary Range: $105000 - $110000
Status: Full-Time

Syntelligent is seeking a J22 Technical Editor to support DIA

Duties will include:
- Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency.
- Ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields.
- Amends draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.
- Ensures proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance. Works with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiates further revisions as needed.
Required:
- 9+ years of experience in the DoD or intelligence community (IC)
- 5+ years of experience as a writer, editor, or intelligence analyst in an IC organization
- Ability to proofread, edit, correct text for style and accuracy
- Ability to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 Analytic Standards, and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements
- Ability to prepare intelligence assessments and other written products with an emphasis on logical argumentation and analytic clarity
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph exam
- BA in Intelligence or related field
Desired:
- Master's Degree
- Completion of DIA analytic foundational course
- Experience with producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing production of analysis products
- Experience working on the Middle East and Africa regions
- Possession of excellent organizational and analytic skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
