Job Description
The Red Gate Group is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. This role provides critical expertise to the FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ) in advancing solutions that improve the processing, analysis, organization, storage, and use of financial data across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with federal financial systems and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle, along with hands-on expertise in Momentum Financials.

Responsibilities

Support the Financial Management Directorate and FM Business Solutions Office (FMZ) in managing enterprise-level financial operations.

Assist government leadership with financial management operations, resource allocations, and program oversight.

Support GEO-F and ORBIT systems, including enhancements and integration of new capabilities.

Monitor and coordinate program resource allocations and provide recommendations to optimize efficiency.

Develop, maintain, and support program schedules, business cases, system documentation, and training materials.

Design and validate methodologies for migrating data between systems.

Participate in meetings related to operations, maintenance, and enhancements of NGA’s Core Financial Systems.

Develop IV&V testing processes to validate financial results before system enhancements are deployed.

Collaborate with system engineering and technical teams to resolve interoperability and policy issues.

Define and develop technical requirements and specifications for development and test after operational assessments.

Participate in milestone events, including requirement reviews, design reviews, and program management reviews.

Coordinate with security organizations on certification, accreditation documentation, and compliance activities.

Support implementation of financial systems in federal environments from both a functional and technical perspective.

Develop reference architectures, CONOPs, data strategies, implementation plans, and process flows.

Conduct detailed release note comparisons and advise system owners on subsystem updates.

Qualifications
Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Computer Science, or Economics.

8+ years of experience in federal financial management, including programming, planning, budgeting, execution, and/or accounting.

Demonstrated ability to assess federal financial business processes, develop systems options, and implement solutions.

Specialized experience (6+ years total):

2+ years analyzing Momentum Financials, including complex technical, acquisition, and cost parameters.

2+ years with Momentum software lifecycle management (requirements gathering, configuration management, testing, upgrades).

1+ year resolving FISCAM audit NFRs.

1+ year performing SAR reviews on SSAE 18.

Desired Qualifications

Experience coordinating across diverse financial stakeholders in the DoD or IC.

Strong knowledge of federal financial systems architecture and lifecycle processes.

Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Ability to operate independently while supporting cross-functional teams.
