The Opportunity:
W ork with various Product Managers of various US Army PEO systems to assist with data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate multiple Army warfighting systems, including Command Post Computing Environment, Tactical Data Platform, and NGC2 systems to achieve end-to-end data management and interoperability.
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Study and describe the infrastructure required for optimal pulling, pushing, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of sources, using SQL, XML, and other technologies.
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing products into an innovative data design.
- Provide key leaders detailed analysis of issues with recommended solutions and provide associated technical reports.
- Work both in field and lab Agile software development environments that are highly stressful and rapidly changing.
Qualifications:
Required:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management Systems, or similar and 13 years in system engineering support of DoD programs.
-DoD Secret clearance and ability to maintain that clearance.
- Ability to provide expertise to Product Office as an engineer/integrator with a detailed understanding of Army, Joint, and Coalition interoperability
Desired:
- Graduate Degree in Computer Science or Engineering and10 years in system engineering support of DoD programs.
- Active Duty or National Guard service in the US Army with expertise in Command Post operations
- Experience with PM Mission Command and PEO C3N portfolio is highly desired.
- Experience integrating Army C4 systems.
- Experience with DoD risk management.
