The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Technical Architect to serve as the Solution Owner for an Enterprise CMDB for the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) contract with the Department of the Air Force. The EITaaS program supports our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations. CACI is leading the way in transforming IT services from an in-house, base-centric delivery model to an advanced enterprise service delivery model.
This position is hybrid, with work expected on site in Chantilly, VA 3 days a week
Responsibilities:
In this role you will work with the CMDB Program Manager, Project Coordinators, Engineers, and Analysts to maintain and improve on the ServiceNow CMDB Solution. You will guide other program architects and make technical decisions about what the architecture of the system will be. You will also be the lead Engineer from the CMDB team to collaborate with the larger EITaaS Engineering Team.
You will coordinate with subject matter experts across multiple disciplines to propose and implement solutions encompassing people, processes, and technologies. The software that will be added to the solution includes Axonius, ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Flexera Data Platform.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. - A strong understanding of ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping capabilities.
- A strong understanding of Axonius and Flexera Data Platform.
- An understanding of Machine Learning.
- Asset Management Experience
- A strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL.
- A proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
- Experience implementing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models.
- Experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organization's business areas.
- Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
- 15+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery, CMDB, and Service Mapping capabilities
- Experience with Axonius and Flexera Data Platform
- Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal
Desired:
- Asset Management experience
- An active DoD Top Secret or higher clearance
- Agile or Scrum Master Certification
- Experience working in the Department of Defense
