Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team as a CSU Network Specialist. The ideal candidate will assist in backend configuration and troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Configure Cisco access layer switches, including VLANs, PoE, and port configurations.
Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 telephony issues in a Cisco environment.
Perform cabling and telecom wiring in MDFs (Main Distribution Frames) and IDFs (Intermediate Distribution Frames).
Configure Cisco CUBE (Cisco Unified Border Element) and Oracle SBCs (Session Border Controllers).
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Voice Gateways (e.g., VG410).
Configure, install, and troubleshoot Cisco ATAs (Analog Telephone Adapters).
Provision, install, and troubleshoot VoIP phones (Polycom VVX 300/400/500 series)
Requirements:
Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Engineering.
Strong knowledge of Cisco networking equipment and configurations.
Experience with telephony systems and VoIP technologies.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CSU (Customer Service Unit) operations.
Familiarity with network cabling and telecom wiring standards.
