As a Welder, you will:
-Join, fabricate, and repair metal components using appropriate welding techniques.
-Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and schematics to determine welding processes.
-Inspect completed welds for structural integrity.
-Follow established guidelines and instructions under direct supervision.
๐ Qualifications
-High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
-0โ5+ years of welding experience or completion of a certified welding program.
-Apprenticeship or formal training in welding is a plus.
โ Requirements
-Minimum 2 years of welding experience OR welding certificate from an accredited school.
-Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T.
-Working knowledge of the metric system.
-Must pass a background check.

-MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
-Flux Core Welding
-Pulse Core Welding
-Ability to read complex blueprints
Preferred: NAVSEA experience

-Frequent: Bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, standing, hand tool usage, confined space work
-Occasional: Sitting, walking, crawling, climbing, twisting, reaching overhead, vehicle/forklift/crane operation
-Lifting: Up to 50 lbs with assistance
-Pushing/Pulling: Up to 50 lbs
-Workday: 8โ10 hours plus overtime as needed
Compensation:
$20/hr to $28/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
