Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. CACI is seeking a Logistics/Government Property Coordinator to support efforts at ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MD. (ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND)
The Opportunity:
As a logistics manager M1, you will:
- Perform inventory management, cataloging, warehouse management, material coordination, data entry, and property control in support of various supply activities and/or equipment installations.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective operations by managing inventory, coordinating transportation, negotiating with suppliers, and adhering to regulations. Daily tasks include planning transportation and storage for incoming and outgoing equipment support, analyzing supply chain needs, monitoring inventory, and troubleshooting issues.
- Supervising logistics staff, organizing storage and distribution of material ensuring efficient operation of mission requirements.
- Support CACI and government leadership with tracking upcoming mission support, building out schedules, and all shipping requirements needed for CONUS/ OCONUS mission support.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers, managing the full order cycle, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Analyze and track funding requirements, to include monitoring expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all operations adhere to regulations, guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Address issues and complaints related to logistics operations and finding solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Track key metrics, analyze performance data, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage supply and warehousing activities that include requisition, receipt, control, storage, inventory, and delivery of all equipment and material support at a specific facility.
- Conduct stock item research, support inventory lead in issuing components/materials, while monitoring item usage and quantity levels.
- Support logistics staff in creating, completing and verifying shipping documentation, noting and reporting discrepancies and damages.
- Manage the preparation of shipping support for both sensitive and controlled government equipment within the mandated safety regulations.
- Perform miscellaneous quality assurance duties including inspections, inventory process checks, inspecting and examining materials, article inspections, etc.
- Responsible for inventory management of decentralized controlled items, including supplies and equipment.
- Competency in logistics inventory support software systems (i.e. COLTS, etc.)
- Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI must be current.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Bachelor's and 3 years of related experience or equivalent.
- Experience with DoD Shipping requirements.
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Experience with export and import (EXIM) and ITAR compliance
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Position may require travel.
