Overview
CACI is seeking highly skilled polyglots with an active TS/SCI clearance and adjudicated polygraph to join our mission-focused team in Fairfax, VA. As a linguist professional, you will use your language expertise to support critical government operations, working on projects that have a direct national security impact.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. As a linguist professional, you will use your language expertise to support critical government operations, working on projects that have a direct national security impact.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph
- Ability to pass an advanced English proficiency test
- Ability to achieve ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation test (Korean)
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in translation, transcription, and/or interpretation
- In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural context of Korean-speaking regions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based research tools
Language Requirement
- Korean (native or near-native proficiency)
- Translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level materials (technical manuals, foreign periodicals, audio files) into accurate, grammatically correct American English
- Provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for a variety of mission-related situations
- Analyze and report on translated material to support operational objectives
- Conduct quality control reviews of work performed by junior linguists
- Maintain and update databases of translated materials
- Review intercepted data to determine operational relevance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Previous military experience
- Familiarity with one or more Korean regional dialects
- Strong skills in both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation
