Job Description
ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences LLC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Systems Administrator - Lead (LINUX) position to support our customer at the Pentagon under the Command-and-Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division (TSD) contract.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with LINUX System Administration in support of U.S. Army Command and Control (C2) systems, as well as demonstrated success leading teams and managing complex technical projects. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with expertise in IT networking, hardware, firmware, operating systems, application software, and database management systems (DBMS).

Job Description
ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences LLC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Systems Administrator - Lead (LINUX) position to support our customer at the Pentagon under the Command-and-Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division (TSD) contract.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with LINUX System Administration in support of U.S. Army Command and Control (C2) systems, as well as demonstrated success leading teams and managing complex technical projects. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with expertise in IT networking, hardware, firmware, operating systems, application software, and database management systems (DBMS).
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple IT projects and technical teams in a C2 systems environment.
- Install, configure, and tune LINUX operating systems.
- Troubleshoot operating systems, applications, databases, email systems, and complex data interfaces.
- Administer Linux systems in a complex, multi-layered network environment.
- Implement current IA and IT security controls in accordance with DoD standards.
- Perform monitoring, intrusion detection, penetration testing, and alert notification.
- Manage SAN environments, enterprise backup solutions, and fault-tolerant technologies.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of IT experience, with at least the last 7 years in LINUX System Administration.
- Proven leadership experience managing IT teams and projects.
- Experience supporting U.S. Army or DoD environments preferred.
Certifications
- IAT Level III certification in accordance with DoDD 8140.01 / DoDI 8570.01-M (must be active at time of onboarding).
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
Clearance Requirement
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Work Environment
- Full-time, on-site at the Pentagon.
