Estimated: 09/30/2025 Role Overview
Bailey Information Technology (BIT) is seeking Senior Insider Threat Analysts to support the government customer's insider threat mission at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This role involves advanced data analysis, reporting, and risk assessment in support of operational and national security objectives. Senior Analysts serve as subject matter experts, working closely with program leadership and mentoring junior personnel while supporting critical threat detection initiatives. Clearance Requirement
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph is mandatory. Education and Experience
Education Level: Bachelor's degree (preferred)
Note: Four (4) years of military or federal experience in a similar program may be substituted for the degree.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience performing administrative, analytical, and research functions in national security or operational security-related matters.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting insider threat, counterintelligence, or cybersecurity initiatives within federal or military environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level monitoring tools, analytical platforms, and classified data management processes. Key Responsibilities
Senior Analysts perform all duties outlined for Mid-Level Analysts, including:
- Insider threat case research and trend analysis.
- Data loss prevention monitoring and alert generation.
- Report writing (formal and informal), briefings, and correspondence.
- Technical and operational support to the government customer.
- Secure storage, transmission, and editing of sensitive and classified information.
- Database research and data format conversion for government use.
- Comparative analysis from disparate sources to identify anomalies and risks.
- Support for personnel security reviews and monitoring tools.
In addition to the above, Senior Analysts are responsible for:
- Conducting large-scale data analysis, including the development of custom query techniques, prototype tools, and analytical algorithms.
- Analyzing data sets to develop actionable intelligence, evaluate alternative courses of action, and identify emerging trends.
- Preparing and reviewing detailed reports, studies, and data-driven assessments.
- Understanding and communicating the significance of analytical findings to senior stakeholders.
- Prioritizing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Leading the development of visual information products such as charts, graphs, and tables.
- Delivering briefings to government-designated personnel and providing mentorship to less senior team members.
- Articulating program goals, policies, and findings across diverse internal and external stakeholders. Skills and Attributes
