Position Summary
As a Security Engineer / ISSO supporting the FS2 Dissemination Task Order, you will play a critical role in authorizing, protecting, and maintaining the integrity of classified systems across multiple domains. This includes guiding Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, ensuring NIST/ICD-503 compliance, remediating vulnerabilities, supporting assessments and audits, and maintaining A&A documentation in platforms like XACTA 360 and ServiceNow.
You will interface with stakeholders from Leidos, NGA, and DoD, ensuring that security controls are well-documented, traceable, and auditable. The ISSO operates across enclaves (Unclassified, Secret, TS/SCI) and supports continuous monitoring, incident response readiness, and adherence to NGA's cybersecurity policy.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and maintain System Security Plans, POA&Ms, CONOPS, ITDRs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in ServiceNow, XACTA 360, and Leidos CIO tools.
- Lead vulnerability scanning and remediation across multiple classification levels using ACAS, Nessus, and SPLUNK.
- Coordinate A&A activities, liaise with NGA DAOs, and respond to all security-related orders, taskers, and patch compliance requirements.
- Support Zero Trust architecture implementation and measure its effectiveness.
- Interface with system admins, lab engineers, ISSMs, and Leidos security leadership on secure system design and audit readiness.
- Provide access approvals, security training, and audit trail management for identity and access mechanisms.
- Manage security profiles and ensure all required documentation is current and in compliance with ICD-503, NIST, and other federal standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8-12 years of cybersecurity or ISSO-related experience
- DoD 8570 certification (Security+ or equivalent)
- Strong understanding and implementation experience of ICD-503, RMF, and NIST 800-53
- Experience with tools and platforms such as XACTA/XACTA 360, ACAS, Nessus, HBSS, and SPLUNK
- Experience supporting NGA or other Intelligence Community agencies
- Proficient technical writing and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of vulnerability scanning and POA&M remediation experience
- CISSP, CEH, CISM, or other advanced security certifications
- Prior intelligence community or NGA program support
Pay Range
$115,000 - $155,000
