Peerless Technologies is seeking a Senior System Security Engineer (SSE) Weapon/Network Support Manager to support the F-22 Program Office located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The F-22 Program Office is a fast-paced environment supporting a broad array of Divisions and Branches supporting the F-22 Raptor Fleet. You will interface with various government and military stakeholders, including the Weapon System Prime Contractor, and provide SSE team support for the F-22 Security Branch, in support of the F-22 Program Office mission.

The successful candidate will support the F-22 Program by providing the following skills/activities in support of F-22 Systems Security operations; you will:
• Provide cybersecurity support, including development and technical review of Systems Security Plans (SSPs), cybersecurity strategy, cybersecurity test strategy, and other SSE documents.
• Support F-22 Modernization and Sustainment efforts by reporting any security relevant changes and any Prime OEM Contractor/Subcontractor deviations from AFLCMC/WAU operating procedures for software development to the F-22 Division.
• support the oversight of SSE processes and procedures used by the Prime OEM Contractor/Subcontractor that develop software for the F-22 weapon system.
• Track the F-22 system(s) documentation through the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process ending with a signed authorization letter from the Authorizing Official.
• Evaluate the technical implementation of the security design to ascertain security software, hardware, and firmware features affecting confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and non-repudiation have been implemented as documented in the NIST SP 800-53, DoDI 8500.1, and/or JSIG.
• Evaluate the ability of the security architecture of designs and solutions to defend weapon systems and critical networks against malicious and non-malicious exploitation throughout the full acquisition life cycle of portfolio programs.
• Support the identification of current and future cyber analyses to understand and classify the criticality, risk of occurrence, and feasibility of mitigation strategies for legacy and support systems. The Contractor shall support and review existing and future cyber vulnerability assessments of new and legacy systems and recommend prioritized mitigation strategies.
• Apply knowledge of industry cyber resiliency strategies to F-22 cyber resiliency efforts.
• Contribute to and participate in Aircraft Cyber Threat Working Groups.

REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD
• OR, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
• OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD.
• Ten years of SSE weapon/network experience and a CISSP Certification or CISM Certification.
• Ten years SSE experience with the F-22 or a similar fifth generation fighter/weapon system in the modernization/sustainment phase and in the preparation and review of A&A packages of the F-22 weapons system, including but not limited to, classified and unclassified networks, standalone LANs and enclaves, air vehicle, ground support systems, systems of systems, and software and hardware in compliance with the JSIG.
• Have demonstrable experience as an Information System Security Officer/Information System Security Manager role, and system administrator experience is preferred.
• Have experience in the following SSE areas: Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) guidance and policy regarding program sensitive items; Software assurance plans and implementation concerning development processes, operational systems, and development environments; and risk assessments based on JSIG and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-30.
• Top Secret Clearance, and able to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility if required.
