Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports voice services systems, hardware, and software
- Possesses and applies practical knowledge of voice communications over an Internet protocol network interfaced with the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN)
- Provides installation, troubleshooting, removal, or replacement of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Voice over Secure Internet Protocol ( VoSIP ), and end-user devices
- Supports incident and problem resolution
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience 4-7 years with a BA/BS in related field preferred or equivalent experience considered .
- Possess a Secret clearance with the ability to retain .
- Certification - 8140 - A+ or Network+
- Possesses extensive knowledge of voice communications systems, including VoIP and VoSIP technologies.
- Demonstrates proficiency in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining voice services hardware and software.
- Exhibits strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex incidents and issues independently.
- Applies expertise across multiple work assignments, showing versatility and adaptability.
- Develops innovative methodologies and presents effective solutions to intricate voice communication challenges.
- Operates confidently within IP networks interfaced with PSTN, showcasing a deep understanding of modern telecommunications infrastructure.
