Key Responsibilities
Analyst Support & Investigations
- Provide mid-level analytical support for ongoing and emerging insider threat cases.
- Conduct research and trend analysis to identify potential indicators of insider threats.
- Respond to internal and external Requests for Information (RFIs) from the government customer, field components, and partner agencies.
- Assist in reviewing personnel security matters relevant to potential insider threat activity.
- Perform reactive and proactive data analysis using advanced data loss prevention tools.
- Generate leads, alerts, and triggers based on anomalous system or behavioral activity.
- Conduct statistical data analysis for research and data exploration purposes.
- Compare and contrast data from multiple sources to support threat identification and investigations.
- Prepare finished intelligence products, including formal and informal reports, briefings, and visual presentations (charts, graphs, tables).
- Write clear, concise, and timely reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Edit and format data into customer-specified formats and securely transmit and store sensitive and classified information.
- Access and query automated databases to identify relevant information and trends.
- Support the electronic processing, handling, and safeguarding of sensitive and classified materials.
- Provide operational support for case and data management requests from the government customer and partner organizations.
- Maintain familiarity with IT monitoring tools, user account management, and system privilege maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
- Experience:
- A minimum of four (4) or more years of hands-on experience performing administrative, analytical, and research functions in national security or operational security-related matters
- Experience with insider threat or data loss prevention operations
- Experience writing intelligence reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
- Familiarity with technical tools such as data aggregation platforms, monitoring systems, and investigative databases
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
- Note: Four (4) years of military or federal experience in a similar program may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in national security, cybersecurity, counterintelligence, or law enforcement
- Prior experience supporting federal government contracts or agencies
- Working knowledge of IT system administration or configuration management
